Your engine oil pressure switch is an important indicator on your air-cooled VW engine.  Unfortunately, poor quality switches either won't turn on when the oil pressure is too low, leaving you thinking that nothing  is wrong and you keep driving until you throw a rod, or turn on when there is no oil pressure problem and you end up checking  for problems all day that aren't there. This is why we only use  real German switches made by Hella, an OEM to VW. We know when  we install one that the light will only come when it's supposed  to, and stays off when it's supposed to. There is no guessing on  whether or not the switch is just acting weird. Sure you can spend a bit less for some no-name switch that may or may not work, but why risk it?
Do it once - do it right!
