Vintage Artisan Made Raw Silver & Boulder Opal Belt Buckle, 73 Grams!

Amazing, unique vintage artisan crafted free form silver and Boulder Opal belt buckle. What makes this so special is that the buckle is crafted from a big chunk of unrefined silver. It is very organic looking. One side has been polished flat to accommodate the belt insertion but the more raw side has been left pretty natural. Its been polished a bit and set with a really cool Boulder Opal. There is a nick to the Opal, on the bottom left as seen in the pictures, but this does not detract from this piece at all. The Opal has primary flashes of green. Purple can also be seen in certain light. The Opal measures about 1-1/4” long by 1/2” at its widest The buckle measures 2” at its longest by about the same in width. This buckle has great patina.
It’s about 30 years old. It was purchased in Nevada from a native craftsman who also mined for gold and silver. It weighs over 73 grams.
