- Original vintage Canadian Gutta Percha blotter, a promotional platform issued by Gutta Percha & Rubber Limited (HQ: Toronto), proclaiming the quality of the company’s footwear, essentially durable waterproof overshoes endorsed by Perky, a Wire Fox Terrier, the brand’s steadfast mascot. The blotter, produced in semi-rigid paperboard backed in absorbent paper, c. late 1940s, measuring 3 1/2” by 5 7/8”, features sharp graphics in brilliant colours with phrasing exclusively in the French language. A choice, unused blotter in virtually mint condition.
