Description
You are bidding on this pair of Circa 1920s Weimer Germany Coins or Tokens Describing the Inflation of the Post World War One German Economy. I have seen these described as "Mother's Sorrow" Tokens. The example on the left is dated 1923 and measures 1 1/2" across-it is bronze or copper and depicts two gaunt figures with skull on one side and the high costs of essential food items on the other side. The coin on the right is dated 1923 and measures 1 1/8" across and is copper or bronze-it depicts a weeping mother with child on one side and the same high costs on the other side. Both coins are marked "Sachsen Denkmal". If these were coins I would grade both as Almost Uncirculated with some luster remaining.Bid with confidence-I've been selling coins and collectibles for 45 years and have been selling on ebay for over 23 years.
