Solid Boulder Opal BLUE & GREEN STRIPES 10ct Freeform Queensland!

Description

For your consideration is a large, solid boulder opal from Queensland, Australia.  This one features very bright (4.2/5) directional flashes of blue, teal, and green in a striped pattern. Theres even a tad of orange.  The color shows best at low angles.  Unlike the other striped boulders I have listed, this one has a unique "superman" cut and a caramel toned matrix.  The gem weighs a hefty 10.64 carats.  The freeform cut measures 18 mm long by 16 mm wide by 5 mm high.  The stone is clean, crack-free, and highly polished with a single polished "dimple" in the face.  As always, this is a solid, genuine, ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
