ACTUAL PATTERNS/TEMPLATES FOR NELSON-SILVIA LARGE BUCKLES AND BRIEFCASE TRIM:
Nelson-Silvia had dies for the smaller buckles (some of which weren't small at all but these were for Special Buckles Such As World Champion, Special Rodeo etc. as Well as BRIEFCASE TRIM.  If you ever saw Rick's Black Leather Briefcase, You Will Recognize these Instantly.
The two large buckles are 4" by 5" so obviously some GRANDE' size buckles.  These would be placed atop sheet Sterling Silver and scratched with a graver or awl and then hand sawed out.
Each Piece Is Stamped Nelson-Silvia.  All but one of the pieces are what is known in the trade as "yellow brass" which is the same alloy that is used in a gun cartridge case.  The other one is made of Nickel Silver (which has no Silver Content) but is brass alloyed with nickel giving it its whiter color that more closely resembles Silver.
