Description
You may have noticed my other Miehle V-50 Vertical press parts sales. I have a Heidelberg KSBA, and it works a LOT better than the vertical. I even have some tricks to let me get closer to the gripper with a numbering machine, perf, and score, so I am disassembling the V-50 and selling it part by part. This is the Cam Guard Cover (part #28457) and its screw and lock washer. The photo shows the back and part number. The front is in similar condition. It is the goard that is on the side of the press opposite from the flywheel, on the lower part of the press. It swings side to side to facilitate lubeication and inspection..
The press was completely refurbished around 1980 and was used pretty much continuously for the next 15 years, when I got the KSBA. The vertical was then used only sporadically until about 2003. After 2003, it was used virtually never, maybe 2 - 5 jobs a year.
There is some grease, oil, and dried ink on the associated assemblies, but I cleaned them enough for you to see what good condition they are in. I lubricate my equipment very well because I am penurious. Oil is cheaper than repairs. If you want to see any other view, let me know and I will endeavor to post it asap.
I will combine shipping on all my items. If you have a question about shipping costs for a specific mix of items, please don't hesitate to email me for a shipping cost quote. If you choose to then buy the items, please wait until I send you an invoice before paying for the items for your combined shipping quote or you might send excess shipping payments that ebay will charge a non-refundable fee for. A bunch of these could be shipped in a flat rate box.
Shipments less than .00 (not including shipping) will not be insured unless you demand and pay .00 for it. Shipments .00 and above will have the insurance included in the S/H cost.
International shipping ok. The ebay and USPS delivery estimates are wildly optimistic. My experience is that international shipping will take 10 - 21+ days until delivery. Only Express Mail has a chance to meet the delivery estimate. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPERS NOTE: I cannot determine or pay any duties or know about quarantine your country may impose on any of my items. Please check with your local post office BEFORE buying or bidding so you don't get any unwelcome surprises. International First Class is the least expensive, but also is the least dependable. Please select your shipping option when buying.
If you look at my ratings, you will note that only 2% of the sellers on ebay have my dual distinction. I have earned these ratings by being an honest, accurate and fast shipping seller. If you have ANY question or concern, please contact me through ebay messages and NOT through the paypal email address, as I only check that address monthly. I will answer most ebay messages in less than 1 day, and all in 2 days.
Returns accepted. Uninsured shipments are at your risk. I always have confirmation that I have shipped.
Local pickup ok for all my items. Payment on pickup must be cash only.
Alternate payment methods ok if no paypal account as indicated below.

INSURANCE NOTE: I try to insure every shipment of .00 or more by ebay's insurance. Unfortunately, 2012 postal regulations forbid insurance on certain types of postal shipping services to various countries. Also, unfortunately, I now usually only find out whether an item can be insured when I go to make out the shipping label. If insurance is incredibly important to you, email me before bidding and I will try to see if the least expensive shipping service can be insured. An example of the international differences is that at this time, Canada apparently forbids insurance on all postal service levels except Express Mail Parcels. In contrast, I have been able to insure First Class Parcels to both Argentina and Switzerland. I do not personally insure anything. UNINSURED SHIPMENTS ARE SENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
