The Fremont Tribune issue June 7, 1921 has the details of the Sampter-Pettit wedding which occurred June 6, 1921 at 4:00 PM.
The 1940 census shows Gerald, Marie, Nanette living at the same house with Danis (sp) Miller, a 30 year old female servant. All occupants of the home were born in Nebraska.
April 28, 1942, Gerald registered for the draft. His WWII registration shows that he is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 lbs, gray hair, brown eyes and sallow complexion. He is 45 years old.
