    Ink blotter advertises the Donald Sales & Mfg. Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, manufacturers of seacoal facing, core compound, and core paste.
    In addition, they offered engineering services, plating and polishing equipment, fire brick and refractory products, foundry equipment and supplies, and grinders.
    The blotter has a calendar for April 1949.
    A Bull of the Woods comic, titled “Good Medicine and Bad,” is at left.  Bull of the Woods was a comic series featuring the boss of a machine shop, created by Canadian cartoonist James Robert (J.R.) Williams.
    Blotter is printed by Shaw Barton, Coshocton, Ohio. Size is 9 by 4 inches.  Front shows excellent condition; back shows internal crease not affecting front.
