    Germany/Weimar 1924-A 3 Mark, BROADSTRUCK ERROR, PCGS MS64.  An outstanding error that was caused when this coin was struck outside of a collar, allowing the coin to spread out.  As a result, this coin has a larger diameter than normal and it lacks the edge lettering that normally appears.  How this ever escaped the mint is a great mystery and, of course, collectors of today are the happy beneficiaries.  This one has tremendous eye appeal thanks to the loads of luster and a thin layer of golden toning.  This is a trophy coin and would be the highlight of any German error collection.
