Dr. Daniel’s Veterinary Eye Wash Bottle, Scarce Early Version

Description

Hard-to-find early veterinary cure bottle for Dr. A.C. Daniel’s Animal Eye Wash and Eye Lotion from Dr. A.C. Daniel’s Inc., Boston.  This is an early version of this preparation (later versions have a multi-color label) that stands 5” tall and is not embossed.  Clear glass bottle is blown-in-mold with a tooled top (circa 1890-1905) and is in excellent condition with no damage.  The original label is complete and wraps around three sides of the bottle and features three small inset images (Dr. Daniel’s on the front, and a dog on one side and a horse on the other).  Label states that the Eye Wash is “An Aid to the Treatment of Ophthalmia, Iritis, Inflamed and Watering Eye, Moonblindness, Speck, and Cloudiness”.   One of the most difficult Dr. Daniel’s medicines to find, offered with no reserve.
