The Copley HCP5 High Capacity Vacuum Pump provides consistent high capacity needed to accommodate higher, sonic flow rate testing. This vacuum pump features two inlets, one regulated and one unregulated to let users choose a metered flow rate or to bypass the flow control valve for a maximum flow rate of 416 L/min, or even connect a second HCP5 in parallel for a max unregulated flow rate of 833 L/Min. This high-capacity Vacuum Pump is an ideal choice for applications involving the testing of of MDIs, DPIs, nebulizers, and nasal sprays. This low-maintenance rotary vane pump is oil-free and low noise being encased in acoustic lining and vibration dampening housing.
Partnered with the Copley HCP5 is a critical flow controller, the TPK 2000 that is interposed between the vacuum pump and the dosage unit. The unit measures and records all of the parameters required for testing, while also controlling flow conditions. The result is reliable sonic flow conditions you can rely on. The TPK 2000 has a timer range of up to 999.9s with a resolution of 0.1s, and dual ranges, p1 is up to 15 kPA and P2 and 3 are up to 120 kPa. This critical flow controller has an automatic calculation of the P3/P2 ratio and an automated test setup function.
