Chandler & Price 10x15 Platen Press with Motor and Boxcar

Description

Chandler & Price 10 x 15 New Series Press with motor and 9” x 12” Boxcar base. Press built in 1921 (Serial No C61766). Pretty much everything you need to start printing. Motor has been removed and will require some re-assembly if you’d like to use it.
Includes:
• Kimble Electric Motor (It and the speed lever worked when I tried it 5 years ago, but removed it after that and have not run it since)
• Treadle peddle from Hern Iron Works (purchased in 2016 for 0)
• One 10x15” chase
• 9” x 12” Standard Boxcar Base (purchased in 2016 for 5. Has slight damage in two corners, but does not effect printing)
• Set of three rubber rollers (age unknown, no issues last time I printed)
• Motor mounting arm
• quoins and key
Press with motor and mount is approximately 1650 lbs. Buyer is responsible for pickup, packaging for transport, etc. Press is currently raised on 2” x 6”’s but would strongly advise buyer replace wood prior to moving. Some of the wood has split and the oil will compromise its strength. Relatively easy ground level pick-up from a clean, air conditioned garage with concrete floor in Chicago,
