CDI Unit used on various Scooters, ATVs, Go-Karts & Motorcycles.
NOTE:
There are a few plug types used on all Regulators and CDIs... that does not mean they are the same internally. Each regulator / CDI is made for specific model / models of machine/s. You must choose the correct part for your machine and it must look exactly like your old one. These are not universal parts, they are OEM replacement parts, made to look and function the same as the original part.
AC or DC?
DC systems gets 12v DC from the battery, AC systems get AC voltage from the stator. To test which system you have, just turn the key on /engine off and check the power wire at your CDI (see wiring picture) if you have 12 volts, you have a DC fired system.
