    Description

Circa 1940's (I have 4 different ones, all found together, and 2 of them date 1948 and 1949, so I assume these are from the same time period.  Also, see my note below, which says these were used until the 1940s)
    Even Uncle Remus says
    "Ford's out Front"

Ink blotters, an absorbent paper used to blot the excess ink off paper and prevent smearing when using fountain pens.  With strong visual images on the front of the blotters, manufacturers and businesses gave them away to customers as free promotional items. Advertising ink blotters were used from the 1900s through the 1940s until the ballpoint pen was invented.
Price is for one, with 3 available at time of listing.
Great VINTAGE condition, with normal signs of age (like age spots), and light wear (mostly along edges)
