Blue Performance 6 Pin AC Fired CDI for Honda & Chinese 50cc 70cc 90cc 110cc 125cc 250cc
engines found on various Scooters, Motorcycles, Dirt / Pit Bikes, ATVs, Sand / Dune Buggies, Trikes etc. (I have a Red one in another listing).
NOTE:
This CDI is more than the typical
Rev-Limiter CDI, it has an aluminum casing to reduce heat which is the #1 cause of CDI failures, it is also designed to resist vibration and impact, by using a non-conducting silica-sand to fill the inner case. High performance is achieved by modifying the timing curve and allowing for up to 10,000 RPM.
NOTE:
I have this one in Red (found in another listing).
NOTE:
There are a few plug types used on all Regulators and CDIs... that does not mean they are the same internally. Each regulator / CDI is made for specific model / models of machine/s. Make sure you have the same plug and pin count. Also verify you have either an AC or DC CDI system.
AC or DC?
DC systems gets 12v DC from the battery, AC systems get AC voltage from the stator. If your engine will run without a battery, it is an AC system.
