JAVANESE BATIK
Batik is a very traditional technique of painting on fabrics and wood created on the island of Java, Indonesia. The original technique consists of covering parts of the wood with liquid wax (melted with heating and applied with a kind of special brush of this technique), and then dyeing the fabric or the wood with liquid paints.
