    Description

Here is a wood and leather Veterinary Medicine case that I believe is at least 100 years old and maybe older.  I think the corners and latch might be brass.  (I have not cleaned them.) Each side has a hook to help keep it closed.  The handles are leather.  Case weighs almost 13 lbs and measures 16" x 12" x 5".  Inside are various glass bottles each firmly clipped into individual holders.  There are
    3 regular
    and
1 smaller bottles that have ground glass stoppers with threaded nickel covers. On the bottom of these, it says "W L MFG Co." Five of the bottles have sticker labels that say "R. J. Strasenburgh Co., Manufacturing Chemists Rochester, N.Y."  This company existed from 1901-1928, according to internet research. The bottom of these bottles say "W. T. Co." In the picture, I show you the cotton that is attached to the inside of the screw top of the one bottle.  Two of the bottles, Oleoresin Capsicum and Alum, still have some of the contents. The other half of the case contains 7 square bottles, 3 of which have labels:  Ground Corn, MoorMan's Poultry Concentrate, and Water.  The first 2 still contain all the contents.
PLEASE NOTE:  There is a residual stain and scent of iodine inside the case from when it had at one time spilled out.
ALSO:  This package will weigh between 16 and 17 pounds, causing the shipping to be high, especially if your zone is far away from mine.
