This ink blotter measures 3 1/8" by about 7 5/8". Showing a colorful match box on the front advertising Independence Safety Match made in U.S.A. by America's Own Match Co. It's a division of Berst-Forster-Dixfield Co., New York City. With the phone number "Murrary Hill 2-3890" this dates it to the early 1900s. The celluloid ink blotter is in excellent condition with some minor edge wear
