Here is a neat vintage ink blotter from Akron, Pennsylvania advertising “Roy Weaver’s Esso Service and Esso Motor Oil. This blotter has calendars for the last three months of the year 1947 and the first three months of the year 1948. There is a full color image of a brown and white setter bird dog on the right half of the ink blotter along with a ca of Esso Motor Oil. The following wording appears under the dog graphic—

Good minus to acceptable condition. There is some corner wear and very minor edge wear. A stray pen mark on the January 1948 calendar. Some minor staining in the bottom right corner. Some minor creases in the top right corner. Back of ink blotter has not been used to blot ink. No tears.
