Description
1994 F250, 4x4, manual, gear vendors over driveThis has the powerstroke 7.3, not a turbo IDI, it got the name powerstroke in 1995 (but was available in 1994 on manual transmission trucks in the second half of the year.)
Gear vendors overdrive unit is super helpful when towing and REALLY great when you're unloaded on the highway
The truck has a straight body, no rust, and nice interior. Mechanically the truck is EXCELLENT! This truck is super clean, but I'm posting pictures of the stuff that isn't perfect
I'm the 3rd owner (previously an Arizona/southern California truck) I'm located in Idaho and rust is not an issue here either the roads are not salted. I've had the truck for a year and a half, it is garage kept.
I put a lot into this truck over the last year because I did not plan to sell it, but I recently got some new equipment and had to get a 1.5 ton truck.
Clean CarFax, no accidents, clean Idaho title in my name.
There are NO LEAKS, the engine is completely stock and has no blow-by issues. I would not hesitate to drive across the country or sell this to a family member. A/C and heat work great, radio, power windows, etc. all work, 4x4 works, hubs work, lights are all good
Things that are less than excellent:
-On a cold start the truck does seem low on power for about 30-60 sec, then runs perfectly.
-power steps - passenger side motor stopped working, I was going to remove them completely, but figured someone else might want them
-imperfections, chips, scratches, dents in paint and interior are detailed in the pictures
-previous owner glued a dash carpet on and I haven't been able to remove the residue
-it appears that the paint, at least on the sides is not original, it looks like a previous owner had a re-spray in the factory color to cover the white stripes on either side of the truck (factory 2-tone)
NEW within the last 18 months/10,000 miles:
-Gear Vendors overdrive unit-super useful when towing and gets outstanding mileage unloaded on the highway
-LuK clutch
-All springs replaced with OEM equivalent and factory codes
-Bilstein shocks
-aluminum Alcoa wheels - new from Alcoa including spare
-Michelin Agilis tires (factory size) including spare
-glow plugs and relay
-starter
-batteries
-window tint (just done last week, after the pictures, the old tint was starting to bubble)
-new windshield will be installed next week - JUST got a rock chip 2 days ago
I had the truck detailed a few weeks ago and it looked AMAZING, but after a couple weeks some haze shoed up again, detailer isn't sure what it could be.
some pictures show extendable mirrors, those have been swapped for stock mirrors (you can have the extension ones, but they shake a lot)
