Description
Vehicle Details1969 Ford F250 Camper Special. V-8 390 engine. 2 wheel drive. Two gas tanks Side tool box. Aftermarket air conditioner installed in the 70's I think. Air conditioner is a Cust-O-Matic. It blows, but is not real cool. Missing a knob on it, that I think was the fan speed knob.Radio did work, until I ran it through the car wash a couple of weeks ago and knocked the antenna off. Wipers work, interior light works, speedo bounces around, but does work. Is a California truck that was my dad's. He bought this in the 70's I believe, as an occasional driver. He gave it to me and I drove it here to Kentucky in 2009 and have probably put about 35000 miles on it since I've owned it. Runs pretty well, new battery just installed. Pretty solid since it was a California truck. Has a medium dent in front of hood, and windshield needs replacing, cracked from rock hitting it on the interstate. Horn fell off awhile back, and the steering wheel has a crack through it. That California sun shining through the windshield probably did that. My dad replaced the upholstery at one time so it is pretty decent. The dash has a protector on it, but still needs to be refurbished due to some cracks. Bed has been protected by the topper so looks pretty good. Topper is included with sale. Gas gauge doesn't work. The valve to switch tanks had to be replaced about 10 years ago and is not the correct valve and am not totally sure which tank it is pointing to at the moment. Supposed to be a three way valve with a front, rear and off, but had to put a 4 way in. I put a new water pump on at one point. Just a pretty decent 52 year old truck. If you want more pictures or video of anything specific just message, I'll be glad to send. Any questions please message, I will answer to the best of my knowledge. We do drive this on occasion. I did put a new carburetor on it a few years back as the original was just worn out. My intention was to make it a show truck, and just never got around to it! Too many projects going on. My Dad passed away, so am not totally familiar with all of the truck's history. I am sure there are some things that need to be fixed, but at this point, there is nothing that really stands out as an issue. Selling as/is, no warranty or guarantees. Payment in cash at pickup. Payment arrangements must be made within 24 hours of purchase and Payment in full must be made within 3 days or it will be relisted. Please plan ahead and be prepared to make these arrangements at purchase. You can message through ebay messages, I do check messages through out the day. Also, I will be willing to look at all reasonable offers, but if it is ridiculously low, I probably won't answer! If you would like some videos of it running or more pictures I will be glad to send more.
