Vintage original 1948 – June & August calendar months represented on advertising ink blotters for CABBLE FOURDRINIER WIRES – WM. Cabble Excelsior Wire Mfg. Co. Brooklyn 11, N. Y – A Century of service representing 1848 – 1948.
Stamped along the bottom edge Printed by Brown & Bigelow U.S.A. Image is by R.H.
Palenske and titled “The Kilrtzers!” with the image of raccoons looking at a fish jumping out of the water after a bug scene and “Tarpon Tornado!” with two fishermen in a boat and reeling in the fish scene.
There are touched corners and crease marks. The front and back of the blotters are unmarked.
