    Description

1923 Germany Karl Goetz Bronze Medal - Hitler Putsch In Munich - NGC Mint State MS 64 Brown - Kienast 302 - RARE.  The image of Hitler is the first known appearance on a coin or medal.  Housed in an NGC oversized holder.  As far as I am able to determine, this medal is the only graded example at NGC with a PCGS population of zero.  The historical importance of this medal can not be overstated.  There are numerous articles on the web regarding this subject for those interested.
The image of Hitler is not considered to be flattering.  Lampooning Nazi soldiers as young hooligans, the backwards swastikas and the intentional misspelling of Hitler's name made this medal potentially very damaging to Goetz.  Legend has it that after Hitler took complete power in 1933, Goetz traveled all over Germany purchasing as many of these medals as he could in order to destroy them.
    Obverse - S
tanding figures of Hitler with a pistol and von Kahr to the right of the podium. The inscription reads, "NATIONAL GEN NATIONAL!!!" (National against National). To the left of Hitler is a backwards swastika and the date "8.NOV.1923". Under Hitlers foot on the stage, Goetz intentionally misspelled Hittler.  On the podium is von Kahr's name, "V.KAHR".
    Reverse -
Three young Nazi soldiers on a theater stage with von Kahr peering from behind curtain on the right.  Between the two parties a Social Democrat dances and points to the two participants.  Above are the words, "MUNCHNER THEATER" (Munich Theater). Below is a handbill with the inscription, "9.11.23 / ETZTE / VORSTELLUNG / AUF NACH / BERLIN (November 9, 1923 Last Performance Off to Berlin). The correct German spelling for last is "letzte". On the handbill, the "L" in letzte is formed by the soldiers leg and foot. The artist's initials, "K" and "G" are found on the either side of the handbill.

The USPS has decided to route packages from my region through Tallahassee, FL.  Please be patient as 7+ day delays are the norm in Tallahassee.  I do not have any control over USPS delays.
I will be selling a 30 plus year accumulation of US and foreign coins, currency and exonumia.  I am not a dealer or operating business.
    Please Note -
There are currently 40 states where eBay collects and remits internet sales tax directly to the respective authorities for marketplace transactions.  This includes charging the tax on coins, currency and bullion regardless of whether your State has exempted these items.  I do not have the ability to change the tax.
As a side note, the eBay fee I pay (which just increased as they forced all sellers onto their managed payments) is assessed on the total payment including the sales tax & the tax flows directly back to eBay.
